The Department of Computer Science (QAU CS) was established in 1976 at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, P**istan. The main objective of the establishment of this department was to produce computer scientists in order to meet the growing demand for computer professionals in the country and to focus upon many challenging problems observed in the development and use of computers and computer based systems. and M.Phil degrees in Computer Science. The Department carefully selects the talented, research oriented MPhil Candidates in its Programme. Hopefully PhD programme in the Department will be started in Spring Semester 2011. The M.Sc. degree Program of the department has been highly successful. Our graduates have attained higher degrees from developed countries and are working in very well reputed national and international organizations. So far we have produced largest number of computer science graduates in the country.
