Introducing the Council for Career and Professional Guidance

Following its establishment, the Institute for Leadership and Public Policy (ILPP) is now introducing the Council for Career and Professional Guidance to the wider public - a strategic advisory and coordination body dedicated to strengthening the connection between young people, education and the labour market.

Operating at the national level, the Council brings together key stakeholders from universities and career centres, chambers of commerce, employment agencies, municipal administrations and independent senior professionals.

Through this multi-sectoral cooperation, the Council aims to support better career guidance, strengthen cooperation between education and employers, contribute to improved employment opportunities and skills development, and promote dialogue and joint solutions that respond to the evolving needs of young people and the labour market.

The Council was initiated within the framework of the NextGen Career-Up project, supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Skopje.

We look forward to the work ahead and to building stronger connections between education, young people and the labour market.
