Hi all, Lots of exciting things going on at our school lately as seen on the weekly blast- but I wanted to pass this along from LunchBox, you should be notified soon but in case:

Lunchbox Orders will be waiving the refund transaction fee for refunds processed with the extended school closures due to Covid-19. If a parent has paid the transaction fee in recent weeks, the fee will be returned to their payment card. Our team will be contacting those families directly to confirm the fee return.

Dear Pineland Families, The children in our school community who qualify have been receiving support through the Halton Learning Foundation. This support needs a boost through the HLF emergency relief fund. If you're able to give at this time, please consider donating to the HLF.

Dear Friends,

So, the next week or two starts a new chapter in public education. There is a huge learning curve that students and teachers will be navigating together!!

As we embark on distance learning, I am asking my Facebook friends to refrain from publicly scrutinizing their children’s teachers/schools/district for the way they are teaching or the lessons they are assigning.

Please offer grace to your child’s teacher and other school personnel. I promise that educating your children is still an extremely important priority to them. ❤️

They are about to navigate unchartered waters with little, to no prep time. This is a crisis, not a time to be playing armchair quarterback. They love your kids and will be doing their absolute best!

They are also at home with their own families trying to maintain everyone’s physical, mental, and emotional health.
