Please have a look at the reopening plan for HDSB. If you have questions for PINELAND specifically, please post in the comments, I'd be happy to be a conduit for trying to help answer your question via the school (not from me personally). Please don't ask questions unless you've read the plan in its entirety. https://www.hdsb.ca/parents/Pages/Reopening-Schools-Plan.aspx #

This summer, we will be providing updates about our Return to School preparations for the 2020-2021 school year.

Hi all, Lots of exciting things going on at our school lately as seen on the weekly blast- but I wanted to pass this along from LunchBox, you should be notified soon but in case:
-
Lunchbox Orders will be waiving the refund transaction fee for refunds processed with the extended school closures due to Covid-19. If a parent has paid the transaction fee in recent weeks, the fee will be returned to their payment card. Our team will be contacting those families directly to confirm the fee return.

Look at this wonderful collage that our teachers put together for the students! 😍
Thank you teachers and admin for all that you do to keep our kids educated during this unsettling time.

Dear Pineland Families, The children in our school community who qualify have been receiving support through the Halton Learning Foundation. This support needs a boost through the HLF emergency relief fund. If you're able to give at this time, please consider donating to the HLF.
Stay healthy, and thank you.
Please share this post if you think it will help.

I saw this posted over at the Nelson page and feel it’s important for everyone to read. 💚🤍🖤

Dear Friends,

So, the next week or two starts a new chapter in public education. There is a huge learning curve that students and teachers will be navigating together!!

As we embark on distance learning, I am asking my Facebook friends to refrain from publicly scrutinizing their children’s teachers/schools/district for the way they are teaching or the lessons they are assigning.

Please offer grace to your child’s teacher and other school personnel. I promise that educating your children is still an extremely important priority to them. ❤️

They are about to navigate unchartered waters with little, to no prep time. This is a crisis, not a time to be playing armchair quarterback. They love your kids and will be doing their absolute best!

They are also at home with their own families trying to maintain everyone’s physical, mental, and emotional health.

Please copy & paste if you are a teacher ... or support teachers.

And fellow educators, YOU’VE GOT THIS! I believe in you!
