‼️UPCOMING DEADLINE‼️

🎓Sunday September 27th is DEADLINE for First Class Honour Roll & Scholarship Submissions. Our teachers can submit students who have earned 80% or higher on a conservatory exam taken between September 1st, 2025 and August 31st, 2026. Proof of marks is required with permission from the student/guardian.

🏆All eligible students will appear on our official Honour Roll Scroll to be released in January 2027 and are welcome to perform at the First Class Honours Recital in February 2027. Scholarships will be awarded to students with top marks. 🏆

Will YOUR STUDENTS participate in this year's COMPOSITION CHALLENGE?!?! ✍️🎶 Don't miss this GREAT OPPORTUNITY for your students!! 💕

DETAILS: This is an open, adjudicated event for students of Hamilton-Halton ORMTA teachers only. The adjudicator will assess the compositions individually with consideration for the composer’s age.
We are NOW TAKING ENTRIES! The deadline for submissions is October 15th, 2026.
Adjudication will take place from October 16 through October 30, with results announced on November 5th, 2026.

✨There is a possible performance opportunity for the selected composition at the Hamilton-Halton ORMTA Canada Music Week Recital taking place on Sunday November 22, 2026.✨

Another great kick-off AGM!! 😁 Thank you to all the members who came to help us get this year going! Thank you to our president Marina Atahli for preparing and running the meeting and to all the executive for reporting and updating us. It’s going to be SUCH a great year at HH-ORMTA, especially with it being the 90TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR! 🎉
