FIRST Burlington Central Robotics Team 2386 Team 2386: We brake for no one. About FIRST Robotics:

FIRST robotics is an international high school robotics competition.

Each year students are presented with a challenge and must build robots to carry out the given tasks. The teams are challenged with restrictions like time restraints, size limits and weight limits. Each competition consists of a qualifying matches. The top eight teams in the qualification matches pick partners from any team ranked below them. This creates the alliance that then proceeds to the elimination round. The 3 team alliances play in the quarter finals, semi-finals and then the finals. The matches are determined by a best of 3 match-ups between the two alliances.

Team 2386 not only offers exposure to the world of engineering, but teaches leadership and community values that resonate with students for a lifetime. With this, alumni of 2386 have found themselves in some of the best programs in the country, often doing co ops or interdisciplinary programs. Our team prioritizes hands on experience and intersectionality between business and science, making it an excellent preparation for such programs. We wish our students the very best in their future endeavours and look forward to seeing them turn back up as mentors💙💛
