Menopause can change airway health, and dental hygienists are well placed to notice signs that may prompt a conversation about obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

Join us for Introduction to the Menopause Airway, a 1.5-hour course that connects the research to what you see and hear in practice. You’ll explore menopause-related airway changes, review possible oral indicators such as a scalloped tongue and tooth wear, and learn practical screening questions you can bring into your hygiene visits.

The goal is to help you recognize when a patient may benefit from a conversation with their primary care provider—and feel more confident starting that conversation.
