Grade 1+, we practised our pirate play, running au nord, au sud, à l'est, à l'ouest, searching sous le palmier, dans le lac et dans les montagnes to find our imaginary trésor. Real treasure to come next week!
Pre-School and Kindies learnt the parts of the face this week. Do you know the game "Beetle!"? We adapted it to build a face - throw a 6 to draw a circle for le visage, 5- les yeux, 4- le nez, 3- les cheveux, 2 - les oreilles, 1 - la bouche. Race your child to complete the face.

French Classes at Learning Tree!
Bonjour! I will be teaching French lessons on a Saturday morning at the Learning Tree from Pre-school to Grade 1/2. Anyone interested? The Monday morning classes may also re-locate to the Learning tree at 11am.
I've just updated the website. A 4 week session will be on Mondays in July and, for the first time in Burlington, I am offering Saturday Classes from September. More details at www.ainsi-font.com
I'm looking to open another class, this time at 11.30am on a Monday. Limited places! It is a good way of meeting other moms as well as brushing up on your French and having fun!
