Hello Families!

I run a private home daycare in the Orchard area of Burlington (across from Alexander’s Public School) 🏡 I am looking to enroll a child between 8 months and 3 years old for full-time, year-round care. (Teacher schedules can be accommodated if full-time care is required all year.)

With 16+ years running my daycare and 30+ years of experience working with children ❤️, I provide a warm, structured, and nurturing environment where little ones feel safe, confident, and right at home.

💛✨ My heart is so full today ✨💛

One of my past daycare little ones came back to read a story to the children, and it was such a proud, emotional moment for me. 📖💕 Seeing her walk through the door all grown up truly touched my heart.

It feels like just yesterday she was one of the tiny ones here, learning her letters, playing, laughing, and growing every day. 🌸🧸 And now, to watch her confidently sit and read to the next group of little learners, it was incredibly special.

It was such a pleasure caring for and teaching her in her younger years, and moments like this remind me why I love what I do so much. 💞

Full circle moments are the sweetest. 🌷✨

🌊🐠 Ocean Exploration Fun! 🐠🌊

This month we had so much fun exploring the ocean and learning about all the amazing creatures that live there. We talked about what an ocean is, learned that there are 5 oceans, and discovered what snorkelers and divers do.🤿

We also worked on our letter S, learned which animals live at different ocean depths, and practiced recognizing the colour blue. So much learning, curiosity, and under the sea fun all month long. 💙🌊

🥳🎈 A Very Special Birthday 🎁🎉

We celebrated his 4th birthday, and while it’s the last one we’ll celebrate together here, it was filled with so much joy. We’ve been so lucky to celebrate his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th birthdays at the daycare, making memories we’ll always cherish.

It has truly been a pleasure watching him grow, and we wish him so much happiness in the years ahead.💙✨

🌱🚜 Digging Into Learning Month ! 🚜🌱

This theme was all about digging in the dirt and the children had an absolute blast 👐✨

We explored different types of soil, talked about how the earth helps things grow, and got our hands a little dirty along the way which is the best kind of learning. We also worked on our letters A for ant and M for mud, connecting our theme to early literacy in a fun, hands on way.

The children enjoyed bringing items from home to show and share with their friends, proudly showing things that started with these letters. It was wonderful to see their confidence and excitement grow.

🎉🎂 last month we had so much fun celebrating a special birthday with a Wiggles-themed party! 🎶💛💜❤️💙

I loved bringing his Wiggles love to life with a themed backdrop and decorations created just for him. 🎈 The children had a blast singing, dancing, and enjoying Wiggles-inspired fun together. 🥳

We even turned off the lights, closed the curtains, set the bubble machine going, and turned on the disco lights for a dance party to the best Wiggles tunes. The room was filled with music, giggles, and wiggly fun! ✨

It was such a joy to make the day extra special for our little friend — so many smiles and memories made! 💛

February was a fun month Blasting into space! Children had making their own astronauts. I added a picture of their own face in the helmet. Such a great simple activity. 🚀🌌🛰👨‍🚀
