$20 per session - which starts with hello, tutor 30 mins. /student break / stretch: walk about / washroom/ their snack 8-10 mins., - Water / drink anytime - back to learning for 20 mins./short parent catch up / report. At that same time the parents / guardians, and I, will schedule the next session.
I focus on phonics: We go over the most common words with my self made cue cards. We work through exercise books. .( I also have books of my own for children to read) I have the child reading, & thinking up their answers to my questions, and assisting them with printing those answers.
We will also look into a country, a sport, or other interests of the child.
I have tutored more off than on since 2000. I am not a teacher. I am a mother of a grown adult son, and 2 adult daughters. I am also a grandma to 3; 20, 13, 5 yrs. old. I have taught my siblings as I was the 2nd eldest of 6 children. In the past I have taught my grandson and my niece, and a few young people when I lived, briefly, in Stoney Creek.

FOR: Students Aged: 5,6,7,8 - and 9 year-olds. II largely focus on Literacy; phonics, reading, & printing answers to questions related to the reading, etc., we may be working on. We can look at other subjects too like geography, some math.... I also have Curriculum Books.
