Reminder!
Nominations for the 2026 Iona College Old Boy Achievement Awards are now open.
Proudly presented by the Iona Old Boys Association, these awards honour the accomplishments of our alumni and recognise the positive impact they have made in their professional fields, personal endeavours, and wider communities since leaving Iona.
Each year, two Old Boys are acknowledged – one senior Old Boy (40 years and over) and one young Old Boy (under 40) to celebrate demonstrated achievement, commitment to service, and the embodiment of the Oblate values that remain central to the mission of Iona College.
Last year, we were delighted to honour Old Boys Clifton Hodgkinson (Class of 2011) and Dr Shaun Ziegenfusz (Class of 2002) as the latest recipients of these awards.
Clifton is the founder and CEO of Updoc – an online telehealth service connecting Australians with 24-hour access to doctors and healthcare professionals, while Shaun is a speech pathologist, researcher, and advocate for improving the lives of children and young people with Developmental Language Disorder.
Clifton and Shaun join Australian Paralympian Daniel Fox (Class of 2009) and Queensland Director of Public Prosecutions Todd Fuller KC (Class of 1984) as previous winners of the awards that recognise our Old Boys as men of outstanding achievement, deep character, and enduring humanity.
