A quick demonstration of the Kasumi Polishing Powder, developed by Ivan Gomez Fonseca (), one of the world's finest knife polisher. Working closely with , Ivan has helped create many of their signature finishes, making Konosuke one of the most sought after brand among knife collectors.

I had always been curious to see what the Sanpou factory of Sakai Takayuki looked like from the inside. Before visiting, I imagined a modern, highly automated facility. Instead, I was greeted by a traditional workshop where some of Sakai's greatest craftsmen continue to practice their art.
Among them are legendary blacksmith Itsuo Doi and master sharpener living legend Mitsuo Yamatsuka , working alongside younger generations and passing their skills and knowledge down. Seeing this dedication to preserving traditional craftsmanship was truly inspiring.
