🔥 Week 2 of our High Performance Program 🔥

What a week it was from all 3 teams.

This week’s key learning focus was:
⚔️ 1v1 Defending
Working on delaying the attacker and giving teammates time to recover behind the ball.

Safe to say the players took it onboard… because across all 3 teams we didn’t concede a single goal this weekend 👏🛑

We also focused heavily on creating combinations in wide areas:
➡️ 1-2s around the full back
➡️ Supporting runs
➡️ Creating overloads out wide

We got close to giving ourselves a pass mark in this area, but we know there’s still another level to get to.

Back to the session plans this week as our coaches continue helping players understand not just the “what”, but the “why” behind the game.
