Our Year 10 students recently attended the Women in Engineering Explore Day at The University of Queensland, where they explored the exciting world of engineering through a series of hands-on workshops. A special highlight was hearing from former Kedron State High School student Pamela Figueroa, now studying mechatronics engineering at UQ. Pamela shared her inspiring journey from Kedron classrooms to university, offering valuable insights into student life and engineering pathways.
It was a fantastic day of learning, discovery and inspiration, encouraging our students to think big about the possibilities that engineering can offer. Could one of these future engineers be designing the technology, infrastructure or innovations of tomorrow? We can't wait to see where their journey takes them!🖤💛

Students wishing to attain their First Aid Certificate must get an application form from VET Dept- beside Junior Admin block.
Signed forms will need to be returned by end of Week 4 ( Friday 7th Aug) with the course being held on Friday 28th Aug -Week 7.
Successful completion will give you an additional 2 QCE points. This will be the last time this year we will run the First Aid Course, so if you are interested- DO NOT DELAY.

Year 11 Camp 2026 was an unforgettable week of challenge, teamwork and personal growth! From bushwalking and outdoor adventures to leadership and problem-solving activities, our students embraced every opportunity with resilience, determination and enthusiasm.
