¡Olé! Our Spanish students embrace the art of Flamenco!
Our Year 9, 10, 11 and 12 Spanish students stepped into the world of Flamenco today with workshop led by Miss Christine from Joy Flamenco.
Students began by watching a captivating demonstration of Sevillanas and Bulerías, two traditional Spanish dances, before getting on their feet and having a go themselves! They learnt the basic Flamenco steps and their proper Spanish names, putting their new vocabulary into action before working together to learn a Flamenco choreography. It was fantastic to see our students approach the workshop with such enthusiasm, energy and a positive mindset. From mastering the footwork to keeping up with the choreography, students embraced the challenge, supported one another and, most importantly, had fun along the way!
Learning a language is so much more than learning words – it’s about experiencing the cultures, traditions and people that bring that language to life!
¡Olé, chicos! What a wonderful way to experience Spanish culture!

Mental Health Week
Tuesday’s breaks were all about connecting, belonging and looking after our wellbeing! Students enjoyed drumming, pancakes, a community mandala and connecting with a range of support services and community organisations.
A big thank you to everyone from our Wellness team that helped make the day a positive and welcoming experience. 🖤💛

It’s almost time! Our 2026 Gala Concerts are coming to KPAC on Saturday 17 October, celebrating another wonderful year of music at Kedron SHS.
Tickets are on sale now. With a fantastic program featuring all of our Extra Curricular Music ensembles and the premiere of our commissioned piece, We Shine!, this is a concert you don’t want to miss.
