To commerate Children's Day, we shared within our pack deliveries for all our next generation of leaders, and recognise the important role families, communities, and organisations play in raising strong, confident, and proud children.

SNAICC-National Voice for our Children

Last week, we had the pleasure of commemorating the significant occasion of NAIDOC during our Monthly Gatherings,
transforming the day into a vibrant celebration of connections

Reviving the captivating Dreamtime story "Tidalick" for sensory play, which brought joy and laughter to the jarjums through fizzy fun

Storytelling featured a beloved character, Nan's Superhero, allowing each child to create their own masks, fostering creativity and engagement.
Additionally, the tutors presented community map ideas highlighting local organizations for families to explore within this deadly community.
The boat-making activity infused with the colors and props of the Torres Strait Islanders added an island vibe to the festivities.

We were thrilled to welcome our Yuuingan Niccola and Harold from Healthy Harold who delivered an insightful lesson on emotions, emphasizing fairness and the value of differences, implementing ways of building strong friendships

Finally, Chris from "Three Little Birds Cultural Foods" conducted an enriching workshop focused on the five senses, engaging with jarjums in making a special Cocoa Damper and Lemon Myrtle Cordial, crafted with love from Aunty's recipes,
leaving everyone's cup full 🤗✨
