Would you send an AI-assisted report to your manager without checking the numbers behind it?

Bookings rising from 80 to 100 is a 25% increase, not 50%. And those figures do not prove what caused the change.

A polished paragraph is not proof.

Before you send it, check:

✓ The numbers
✓ The evidence
✓ The decision

Save this for the next report you review.

A proud first step for AI learning with Papua New Guinea

On behalf of First Class Training, I would like to sincerely thank Mr Reatau Rau, Consul-General of Papua New Guinea in Brisbane, and his team for giving us the opportunity to launch our new I Can AI Too beginner AI course.

The idea behind I Can AI Too is simple: artificial intelligence should not feel inaccessible, overly technical or reserved for specialists.

It is designed as an introduction for people who are starting their AI journey and want to better understand how this rapidly developing technology can be used in practical, everyday situations.

For First Class Training, this launch is also an opportunity to introduce the broader range of AI training we have developed for individuals, professionals and organisations wanting to build practical AI capability.

Our AI training pathway includes:

I Can AI Too — beginner AI training

AI Micro-credentials — focused learning in specific areas of workplace AI

Certificate III in Business (AI) - fully-funded for eligible QLD residents

Certificate III in Business plus AI Skill Set - just $499 for eligible QLD residents

Certificate IV in AI for Business

Diploma of Artificial Intelligence

Together, these programs provide a pathway from taking the very first steps with AI through to developing more substantial workplace and professional capability.

We are particularly excited about the potential for AI education to support people and organisations across Papua New Guinea and Australia, and we greatly appreciate Reatau and his team for giving us the opportunity to begin that conversation.

Thank you again, Reatau, for your support, your hospitality and the opportunity to introduce I Can AI Too.

We look forward to seeing where this first step leads.

AI can give you an answer. The useful part is knowing what to check next.

This month, we’ll share practical workplace examples and better questions about learning, including how to check an AI-style report, choose a sensible first task and judge what useful training should help you demonstrate.

No miracle productivity claims. Just practical examples, clear explanations and the judgement behind them.

Follow First Class Training for practical AI-at-work examples you can judge for yourself.

We may have created a genie, opened Pandora’s box, and entered what Sam Altman now calls the singularity...

He says we are getting close to building intelligence capable of granting almost any wish. Curing diseases, creating abundance, solving problems that have followed humanity for centuries.

The most interesting part of a breakthrough is often what it makes possible next.

China is deploying robotic traffic cones that move on their own.

These AI-powered, self-moving cones can deploy themselves around accidents and road hazards, then return once the area is clear, reducing the need for people to step into dangerous traffic just to protect others. The streets won't just be filled with humanoid robots.

Robots are becoming more capable — but the useful question is what they can actually do in real environments.

Nike just made slides that heat and massage your feet.

The new Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide, built with Hyperice, combines three heat settings, three vibration levels, and full-length Air Zoom cushioning inside a recovery slide. They’re designed to help your feet recover after workouts, long runs, or even long days on your feet, all powered by a rechargeable battery hidden inside the strap.

The headline may be the technology, but the deeper story is the engineering, problem-solving and skills required to make it work.

This guy built a tool that makes your room feel like a CIA situation room.

The internet produces an endless stream of information every second. News, conflicts, earthquakes, cyberattacks, flights, ships, markets, and millions of other signals never stop.

As AI becomes more capable, the skill gap shifts from access to judgement: asking better questions, checking outputs and applying the result responsibly.

Insane drone footage of Starship’s first-ever intact soft splashdown after a full landing burn.

Watching a massive spacecraft fall from space, survive reentry, slow itself down, and gently land with this level of control still feels impossible. And all of it was recorded up close by a drone in incredible quality.

Clever engineering is only valuable when it solves a real problem or makes a task meaningfully better.

Would you trust a driverless bus to take your children to school?

China and several other countries are already testing self-driving electric buses that can navigate city streets without anyone behind the wheel. They use cameras, radar, sensors, GPS, and AI to constantly monitor the road, detect obstacles, read traffic signals, and react to what is happening around them.

Automation matters when it solves a transport problem without losing sight of safety, oversight and the people using the system.
