Term 3 begins Saturday, 18 July! 🌟

We’re looking forward to welcoming our students back to SEMAS Academy Indooroopilly for another term of learning and progress.

Through structured Japanese Soroban (abacus) training, children develop strong calculation skills while building important foundations in number sense, concentration, working memory and mental visualisation.

We are still accepting enrolments for Term 3, with limited places available across our programs:

🔸 Soroban Kids | Ages 5–8
🔸 Mastering Soroban | Ages 8–11

Classes are held in small groups on Saturday mornings in Indooroopilly, with students placed according to their age, readiness and current ability.

We offer calm, hands-on Japanese Soroban (abacus) classes that build number sense, focus and confidence — with a structured, levelled pathway.

Thank you to the families who came along to our launch trial day yesterday 💛
It was such a joy meeting you and seeing the children engage so thoughtfully with the Soroban (Japanese abacus).

✨ For our trial day, we created a welcoming space where children could explore the abacus while parents had the opportunity to view our curriculum and learning approach.

We are now running small-group classes on Saturday mornings during the school term at Brigidine College, Indooroopilly.

If you missed launch day, you're very welcome to book a Saturday free trial — simply message us your child's age and year level, and I will be in touch to confirm a time.

• Roadside parking available around the college
• Entry is via Gate 2 (Ward St)
• Enter the gate, turn left towards Delany Building
• Take stairs down to the Delany 2 classroom
