Our Year 6 campers have had an amazing four days away and are due back home tonight!

Today wrapped up the adventure with visits to see butterflies and crocodiles, bringing a fantastic camp experience to a close. With perfect weather all week and plenty of fun, laughter and memorable experiences, it has been a wonderful few days for everyone.

Families are encouraged to keep up to date with the flight status using the Virgin Australia Flight Tracker.

Our Year 5 campers are on their way home after an action-packed few days of adventure, fun and new experiences! They are expected to arrive back at school in time for the normal 3:00pm pick-up.

On arrival, students will help unpack the bus before meeting their parents under C Block. Parents are kindly asked to wait under C Block to collect their child.

As we prepare to celebrate our Centenary, we've been fortunate to revisit some incredible memories that have been carefully preserved at Morningside State School over the years.

One special treasure we've uncovered is a book of memories created in 2011, featuring stories and reflections from former students who attended Morningside State School between 1950 and 1958.

Here are just a few of those wonderful memories. There are many more to discover, and the memory book will be on display at our Community Centenary Celebration.

Our Year 5 and Year 6 students are having an amazing time on camp!

Year 5 have enjoyed beach adventures, cave exploring and rope climbing, with archery up next this afternoon.

Year 6 have had another busy day visiting the Rainforestation, Boomerang Art, the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and Kuranda Railway Station.

So many wonderful adventures, learning experiences and smiles all round!
