not all men. but all men we grew up with existed in a very different reality than we did as girls in the 80’s & 90’s. we just want to know if you’ve ever looked back and thought “damn, that wasn’t right.”

check out this guide to understanding the history of legal protections for disabled people to live in their communities AND how the current administration is reversing their prior stance on cases and settlements meant to uphold those rights.

we need to look at our (not so distant) history to prevent the federal government from enacting more harm on disabled americans.

just learned about on October 10th, an evening to make plans with disabled friends, family and allies and BE SEEN!! a simple thing like going out to eat can feel revolutionary when public spaces often make disabled folks feel unwelcome.
