As we move into Week 6 of Term 3, the children will be heading to Madagascar as we celebrate our local legends and meet the cheeky ring‑tailed lemur! The children will dive into culture, community, and a little lemur‑inspired fun throughout the week. 🇲🇬👩‍🏫

📢🎉 On the 4th of September, Forest Lake State School will be closed to students for a Pupil Free Day…

But FLOSC is open for our annual Pupil’s Day! 🎈🎨⚽

This week, we'll be learning all about amazing kangaroos, exploring beautiful Australia and celebrating an exciting World Cup Week 🦘🇦🇺⚽

⚽🌞 Our seniors are heading to Calamvale District Park tomorrow for a day of outdoor fun and games!

We kindly ask that all students are signed in by 8:15am with all required items such as sun safe clothing and enclosed footwear (crocs are not included)🎒😊

Students in Years 3–6 and above will eat from their lunch boxes for morning tea. A sausage sizzle will be provided for lunch, and students will return to the service for afternoon tea. 🌭
