🌧️🪱Wormy discoveries in the playground🪱🌧️
Over the past few days, all the rain brought a special surprise to our playground, lots of little worms! This created an amazing learning opportunity.
The children were excited to explore, observe and learn all about worms. How they move, where they live, and why they come out after the rain. There were plenty of curious questions!
Through this experience, the children developed a deeper understanding of nature, built confidence, and showed respect of living things. Learning really does happen everywhere, especially in moments like these! 🌱✨

🌈What a colourful day.

We explored the beauty of rainbow colours and carried out a walking colours experiment that had everyone watching closely.

The children talked about mixing primary colours and were excited to see how each colour slowly changed. A simple activity that sparked big curiosity.

This week our kindergarten children have been exploring Aboriginal culture and Torres Strait Islander culture through story, discussion, and hands‑on creativity.

We read Finding Our Heart by Thomas Mayor, which sparked thoughtful conversations about the Uluru Statement and the significance of Uluru.

Inspired by the book, the children created their own 3D Uluru artworks, painting their interpretations of this special place. Their curiosity, respect, and creativity shone beautifully throughout the week.
