Today, our school successfully conducted a Lock Down Drill as part of our ongoing commitment to student and staff safety.
Please note, this was a drill only - there was no emergency situation. Practicing these procedures helps ensure that everyone knows what to do and that we can respond quickly and safely should we ever face a real situation. These drills are an important way for us to practice our emergency procedures in a calm and controlled environment. Students and staff did a great job following directions, staying focused, and taking the drill seriously.
We understand that safety drills can sometimes raise questions at home, and we encourage you to talk with your child about today’s practice should you wish to. Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school community safe
