Kenmore VIEW Club Meets for lunch every 3rd Monday of the month at 10.30am at Bellbowrie Tavern, Birkin Road, Bellbowri VIEW is non-sectarian and non-party political.

VIEW women know their organisation is unique. Where else can a woman find a group that gives her the opportunity to:
*Meet regularly with other women of all ages and from all walks of life
*Have a forum to discuss and exchange ideas

*Do good deeds and help others

VIEW women are seriously committed to providing educational opportunities for disadvantaged Australian children and their families, and have great fun while actively contributing in their local communities. VIEW women ultimately support The Smith Family!

Well, the women of the Kenmore VIEW Club certainly know how to make a proud shoe shop owner welcome! I was their guest speaker for their 36th birthday celebration yesterday and not only was the dress code "If the shoe fits", but there was a shoe-related quiz and the tables were decorated with gorgeous paper shoes, one of which now has pride of place here at the shop. It was a pleasure to share my story about becoming a small business owner and reflecting on my career where I often landed jobs that I had no idea how to do! Opening my own shoe shop is a classic example of this!! The Kenmore View Club was the first View Club to be established in Brisbane and currently supports 14 students through The Smith Family. Big shout out to the gorgeous Fi who organised for me to speak and to the very creative Jenny who made the paper shoes and lovely Marion, a long-time customer who is a member of the club. x

HAPPY 36th BIRTHDAY Kenmore View Club
What a celebration....86 members, guests and visitors celebrated our 36th birthday recently.
Visitors from Chapel Hill, Centenary, Logan & Carindale clubs joined with guests NC Irene, Councillor Greg Adermann, Lisa & Joe from the Kenmore Village Shopping Centre , members & guests to enjoy the day. Our trading table was filled with home baked, grown and made items as well as bric a brac and was extremely profitable. The major alcohol raffle was extremely profitable, and numerous ladies left with prizes for themselves and their families.
A shoe themed quiz rounded out the day and awarded chocolate prizes for the highest scores.

Gorgeous winter weather was a perfect backdrop to our recent Country Chic morning.
We started the morning with a delicious morning tea, with lots of sweet & savoury bites on offer.
We had the morning at Lynelle & Ross's magnificent property, touring their amazing gardens with all the included farm memorabilia, and explanations from them both about the evolution of the gardens, and the history of the property. All we could say was WOW...it's so obvious the amount of time and love that has been poured into their home & garden. It was truly gorgeous 😍
To Lynelle & Ross- thankyou so much for opening your truly beautiful home and gardens to us and for showing us around. Thanks to the Committee and members who made the scrumptious food and to everyone who came along...I know we all thoroughly enjoyed the morning.

Kenmore VIEW club were again chosen by Kenmore Village to be the charity partner for their Mother's Day Mother and Daughter fashion parade.
Friday 8th May evening 3 of our members represented our club at this sparkling event, which saw 140 women enjoy finger food, bubbles, fabulous fashion, shoes and handbags from the Village's shops.
President Di gave a short talk about The Smith Family, VIEW clubs and our own club - raising our profile, and encouraging support for LFL.
Heartfelt thanks to Joe and Lisa from Kenmore Village Shopping Centre management for supporting our club and students, and to the guests for their generous donations.
