Please find attached the program for today's Athletics Carnival. We look forward to a fantastic day of competition, participation and school spirit.

Yesterday we held our 800m races, and what a fantastic day it was. Our students demonstrated determination, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship as they challenged themselves over the demanding distance.

Congratulations to all students who participated and gave their best effort. Thank you to our staff and supporters who helped make the event a success.

Prep Transition days for this year!

Please note that the Junior Sports Carnival, which was postponed last week due to weather, will now be held on Wednesday in the final week of term.

We look forward to another great week at school.

Today we farewelled Mrs Wearing.

The Taigum State School community would like to sincerely thank Mrs Wearing for her dedication, commitment and hard work throughout her teaching career. Mrs Wearing has devoted an incredible 39 years to educating and supporting young people, making a lasting difference in the lives of countless students and families.

We thank her for her service, passion and contribution to education, and wish her all the very best for a happy and well-deserved retirement.

Please be aware that if you have a child starting Prep next year and would like them to attend the Transition Day next term, enrolment paperwork must be completed prior to the event.

Due to the current weather conditions and the forecast for tomorrow, the Junior Athletics Carnival has been postponed.

A new date for the carnival will be communicated as soon as possible.
