Sheriff Weir Clem said he’d received several reports of an egg-shaped object, about 200 feet long, landing on farms and highways around town.
Fifteen calls came into the police that night.

DeLonge founded To The Stars in 2017. The organisation brought together former intelligence, defence, and aerospace personnel and played a role in the public release of the three Navy UAP videos that helped shift the subject into mainstream discussion.

“Have you met with people with direct knowledge… of non-human origin craft?”

David Grusch on Dr. Phil

In a classified meeting with Rep. Erick Burlison, Grusch offered to personally cross-examine current and former government officials who ran the UAP programs.

David Grusch goes further than his 2023 congressional testimony.

Grusch is a former U.S. Air Force major and intelligence officer. He served roughly 14 years, including time at the National Reconnaissance Office and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. From 2019–2021 he was the NRO’s representative to the UAP Task Force and later worked UAP-related issues at the NGA at the GS-15 level. In 2022 he filed a whistleblower complaint with the Intelligence Community Inspector General alleging a multi-decade crash retrieval and reverse-engineering program operating outside proper congressional oversight. The ICIG reportedly found elements of the complaint “credible and urgent.”

In July 2023 he testified under oath before the House Oversight Committee that he had been informed of such a program and that “non-human biologics” were recovered with some craft.

Trumbull County, Ohio.
14 December 1994

Just after midnight, the Trumbull County 911 center began receiving multiple calls from residents reporting a low-flying object over the Samson Drive and Fifth Avenue Extension area in Liberty Township.

Callers described an object resembling the rear of a fighter aircraft with something projecting from the back, descending at an angle, moving at speed, and operating without sound. Within a short time the volume of reports forced units to respond.

Liberty Township Police Sergeant Toby Meloro was among the first on scene. As he approached the area his patrol vehicle lost power and his radio failed. He later stated the cruiser was engulfed by a bright light from above. Outside the vehicle he observed a large, circular, intensely illuminated object hovering low overhead. After approximately thirty seconds the object moved away and the vehicle systems returned.

Multiple officers from several Trumbull County departments also reported visual contact.

Dispatchers contacted the local air base in the Vienna area and the FAA control tower. Both reported no aircraft operating in the relevant airspace and nothing visible on radar.

The Robertson Panel January 1953

In January 1953 the CIA convened a small group of scientists to examine the UFO problem.

Officially titled the Scientific Advisory Panel on Unidentified Flying Objects, but it’s better known as the Robertson Panel.

J. Allen Hynek, then the Air Force’s scientific consultant on UFOs, attended as an associate member.

Two pieces of film were of particular interest:
The Tremonton, Utah footage (July 1952), shot by Navy photographer Delbert Newhouse and The Great Falls, Montana footage (August 1950), shot by Nick Mariana.

Computer scientist & astronomer Jacques Vallée addresses a common assumption:
UFOs are not an American phenomenon.

Vallée points out that major waves tend to arrive as intense, concentrated series lasting a couple of months over a given region. The first large modern wave he cites occurred over Scandinavia in 1946, the Ghost Rockets. Swedish and Finnish authorities logged roughly 1,000–2,000 reports of rocket- or missile-shaped objects, some tracked on radar, some reported crashing into lakes.

The following year, 1947, saw a major wave in the United States, concentrated especially in the western states. Kenneth Arnold’s 24 June sighting near Mount Rainier triggered hundreds of reports.

Further U.S. waves followed in 1950 and, more dramatically, 1952, the year of the Washington D.C. radar-visual incidents in which Air Force jets were scrambled.
