~ 💁‍♂️ Do you want to make your GitHub profile look cooler?
~ here’s mine: https://github.com/cbms26 (still learning .md formatting)

you can make one too, it’s super simple.
Follow these steps:
1. Create a new repo with the same name as your GitHub username.
For instance, if your username is 'johndoe', create a repo like this:
2. Add README.md of that repo and then, Create Repo
3. Edit that README.md (must know Markdown format) to your needs like
a welcome message 🎉

You can basically showcase your skills like what you’re building; links, images, badges, even gifs if you want.
I didn’t know about this trick until recently, thought it’s worth sharing 🙌

~ Day 6 of Lifelong Learning: “Small Habits Big Impact”

Nothing new on day 6. Had to go to work from morning till 4pm. However, there’s no stopping me. Already finished my daily challenge that consists of:

✅ More than one lesson from Dr. Angela Yu’s Web Dev Course (Sec 12-Bootstrap / 44)
✅ Didn’t lose streak on boot.dev
✅ Read “The God Equation” 📖
✅ Typing practice - 10 mins of finger gymnastics⌨️

I listened to podcasts of Mel Robbins on commute. And did some knowledge recap of back-end development to integrate on my current React Project. I have written-plans ready, hopefully it works, hopefully??? I will make it running, this will be one of my first ‘getting-out-of-my-comfort-zone’ project.

********This post is just my way of tracking progress. No hype. No promo. Just me vs me every day.********
********To show that anything is possible, even your dreams, you just have to be relentless on yourself. And I am pursuing it, this is DAY 6********

~ Day 5 of Lifelong Learning - Self-proclaimed 'Art of Consistency' Amateur 😂

Today was a huge win. (Daily Challenge) I completed more than one lesson from Dr. Angela Yu’s Web Development Bootcamp (currently on Section 11.4), kept my 8-day streak alive on boot.dev 💻, read The God Equation (section on black holes and wormholes) 📘, and even squeezed in 10 minutes of typing practice without looking at the keyboard 😅.

But the real highlight? I worked a full 9-to-5 at home and finished the entire front-end basic design for my 15-day ReactJS project challenge 💪. I had planned it last night, and to my surprise, I actually followed through.

After lunch, I felt sleepy and was so tempted to just lay down and watch something. Then, strangely, my mind asked me, “Is this who you want to be? Lazy and scrolling reels all day?” That moment woke me up 😹, literally. I got up, pushed through the fatigueness, and achieved something today that would have normally took me over a week.

{No worries — this isn’t spam. It’s just a public GitHub Pages site, hosted on the most trusted platform for developers to share their work.}
Straight-forward only CSS and JS using ReactJS Lib (no usage of Bootstrap or other external lib)

Feeling proud, productive, and more focused than ever. Let’s keep this streak alive.

~ Day 3: Lifelong Learning

Today was a big one. I finally decided on my self-made project, a 15 day React Website Challenge
Since I already know HTML, CSS, and JS, I wanted to level up, so why not dive into React and build something solid and that's just what I did!

Started with some LinkedIn Learning videos to guide the React setup, but honestly, most didn’t help much. Errors everywhere during package installation.
Then I found the real savior, the original VSCode React Setup Guide
[https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/nodejs/reactjs-tutorial]
Read it slowly, section by section. Followed only what was needed and finally got React installed successfully.

Got the base structure working, created component and page files, and yes, pushed everything to GitHub

Also did my daily learning tasks. Keeping the streak alive. It’s tough doing both but kind of feels awesome too

Let’s keep showing up. No excuses. Just progress!!!!!!

This post is just my way of tracking progress. No hype. No promo. Just me vs me every day.

Day 2: Focus on Lifelong Learning

My current Daily Challenge:
1. Complete more than one lessons from Dr. Angela Yu - Web Dev Course.
2. Don't lose daily streak on boot.dev. Do one lesson per day.
3. Read book; currently reading "The God Equation" by Michio Kaku
4. 10mins of Typing course

Today, I started learning the basics of Dart Programming Language, one of the popular languages used in Flutter for developing cross-platform apps.
I’m doing this to stay updated on the latest mobile app technologies and eventually build a few simple projects myself!

Also listened to an insightful podcast:
"How to Read Body Language to Get What You Want: 6 Simple Psychological Tricks to Be More Confident" by Mel Robbins, featuring guest Vanessa Van Edwards; the founder of The Science of People, a behavior lab that studies high achievers and the science of confidence and body language.
Watch here [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73SHFFpm4J4]
Learning small things like this outside of technical skills feels just as important for growth.

Additionally, I recorded a short clip of myself solving the binary search algorithm using Dart — just to check and compare how it feels different from doing it in Python, which I practiced yesterday.

This small clip is the proof that in programming, understanding the logic of an algorithm is way more important than memorizing the syntax of any particular language.
When you truly grasp the logic, switching languages becomes just a change in syntax, like phrasing than thinking.

Every small effort counts. Whether it's a new coding language, faster typing, or understanding human psychology, I’m here to keep moving forward, trusting that these small daily wins will add up to something bigger over time.
