Bring your passion to Cubbyhouse Montessori!

We’re looking for passionate Diploma Educators to join our Spring Hill and The Gap teams, with full-time, part-time and casual positions available. Bring your interests in sport, PE, gardening, art or creative learning and share them with our children.

You’ll join a supportive Montessori environment with subsidised Montessori training available to permanent staff. Permanent educators need to be flexible across shifts, including late shifts until 6:00pm, and be open to embracing the Montessori philosophy.

Today‼️Celebrating Dr Maria Montessori’s 156th birth anniversary !🎂

This morning, our wonderful team of Educators gathered Cubby 2 children together to honour Montessori’s birthday and incredible legacy. 🥳

What better way to celebrate this anniversary than by bringing children together to share and discuss her ideas about education, and the materials she created! Through conversation and curiosity, children discover that Montessori’s ideas continue to inspire how we learn, grow and care for one another at The Gap Montessori - Cubbyhouse!

Today we celebrate the birthday of Maria Montessori, a visionary whose philosophy continues to inspire and guide education across the world.

Since her death in 1952, her belief in respecting the child, nurturing independence, and fostering a love of learning feels more relevant than ever. In a fast-changing world, the Montessori philosophy reminds us to slow down, to see each child as capable and full of potential, and to provide them with the environment and guidance they need to flourish.

We are so thankful here at The Gap Montessori - Cubbyhouse to be able to share her timeless philosophy with our children and community, and to witness every day the joy, curiosity, and independence it brings.

Happy Birthday, Maria Montessori — your legacy lives brightly in the work of our children.

Oohhh! A big thank you to Ashgrove Fire Station 🧯for a return visit especially for our little toddlers! 🚒
Moments like this celebrate the connections of Community with The Gap Montessori - Cubbyhouse and builds awareness for children to recognise the important people who help keep us safe! 👩🏼‍🚒A special treat for the children ~ when the truck left our carpark, they gave us a little siren demonstration 🚨as the children waved farewell!

A big ‘mexican wave’ of thanks to Chelsea, Patrick’s mum, who is a Soccer Coach! ⚽️ Chelsea spoke to the children about her role in this sport.
