In Studio Recording EP…

My biggest passion of all that I do as a performing artist, is to tell stories through music poetry and art as an original artist-
Why?!…
Music made me feel less alone in life- So I tell my stories, so that others may know they are not alone in their human experiences too.
I am often asked at gigs, “When are you bringing out your next song?”-
The short answer is 2027.
The long answer-
When I do!…
I’m like a snail-
I take my time, but leave a trail!… 🐌
For over 29 years now- Since I began “creating” in 1997 at the age of 12, when a guitar was first given to me by my uncle (RIP)…
I have been working on the story that I do have to tell, through my original music, poetry and art-
I am not about to rush my own creative process now, just because I released my Official Debut Single “Free”…
One thing that I learned from releasing “Free”, was that taking my time to create the song with Hussain Record was the best thing I could have done, for the song and for the story behind it, as a whole-
“Free” is more than one song- It comes with poetry and visual art to tell a story- I was able to showcase the full story of “Free” through “The Jaylee Free Tour”, that followed the release of the song. With slam poetry between songs and the visual art that I had created, on the screens behind me, as I performed the first “all original” concert tour of my own. With thanks to Live Music Solutions and all of the support acts who were on board to make that tour what it was! Amazing 👏👏👏
This EP “No One”, that I am now working in studio with Hussain Records on, will be 3 x songs-

Whilst “Free” is a Pop/Trance track, this EP will be somewhat of a different sound-
Because that’s Jaylee!…
There will be some “Split Enz” piano type vibes coming through, some quick lyrics akin to Ed Sheeran’s R&B/Pop, all in all-
It’s me, real, original, from my head, my story, experiences of life, my lyrics, melody and sounds; Hussain Records is the producer who has been able to bring those sounds that are in my head when I sing and play these original songs, to an audio sound, to share with y’all- So you can hear what I hear in my head, when you listen to it- Like “Free”!!!
I could play “Free” acoustically and I still do, however the Pop/Trance track is the sound I have had in my head for the past 20 odd years- I was finally able to share that sound of what had been playing in my head, with y’all on the 11th October 2025 when that track was released-
It took me 5 x producers to actually be happy with the sound of “Free”- Congratulations to Hussain Records for actually achieving it 👏👏👏👏👏
As a cover artist I do play “Radio Hits From The 50’s Till Now” and that encompasses a wide range of genres- My music is like that. I love listening to the Radio and hearing all different styles of music and so, my own album will be like listening to the Radio too!
There is a realistic time line set, by which I intend on releasing my full album- Mosaic- The next step from “Free” though, is the EP “No One”.
Back to the recording studio today for more work on that EP…
