As part of our Book Week celebrations, our Little Wonder took the lead in creating their very own story—complete with imagination, creativity, and a touch of Book Week magic 🌈💡

Last week, our Little Wonders and their families came together to celebrate Book Week as part of the Premier’s Reading Challenge 2025 🌟💛

The celebration was full of joy and learning:
🎭 Parents and children dressed up as their favourite storybook characters
📖 Shared reading sessions inspired a love of stories and imagination
😊 Families joined in, showing the power of reading together

A huge thank you to our parents and educators who made this Book Week extra special. By celebrating reading, we are encouraging every child to explore new worlds and take part in the Premier’s Reading Challenge—building lifelong habits of curiosity and learning 📚🌈

📢🎡 Ekka Public Holiday Closure

Little Wonders Montessori Darra will be closed on Wednesday, 13th August for the Ekka Show Day public holiday.

We hope all our families enjoy the day—whether you’re heading to the Ekka or enjoying some time to relax at home! 💛✨

This week, our Little Wonders had an exciting visit to the Darra State School library—a cozy world of stories waiting to be discovered!

They enjoyed:
• Browsing a wide range of picture books and reading corner favorites
• Cozy reading moments that sparked curiosity and imagination
• Building confidence and a love for literacy in a new, welcoming environment

🌿✨ Honouring Culture with Aunty Peggy
Our Little Wonders were captivated by Aunty Peggy as she shared stories, songs, and traditions from Aboriginal culture. It was a moment filled with respect, learning, and connection.

Through her blessing and storytelling, the children experienced:
