At Brookfield Music we welcome beginners of all ages to join our beautiful, welcoming music school in Upper Brookfield, where you will find supportive, encouraging teaching, whether you dream of playing in an orchestra, preparing for AMEB exams, performing on stage, or simply playing your favourite tunes for family and friends.

We are inviting you to come and learn the violin with Rueben, our fantastic violin and viola teacher.
Rueben believes that every student learns differently and his lessons are engaging, encouraging and tailored to each individual's goals. Originally from Australia, he's spent almost a decade in Germany learning with internationally respected violinists, performing extensively as a soloist and completing both a Bachelor of Music at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold and a Master's degree in Violin Performance at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg.

Ipswich Seniors Concert Group - Cast Call Out
The Ipswich Seniors Concert Group have been presenting musicals for the Ipswich senior's community for the past twenty years. Each year the group develop and perform two musicals featuring an original script peppered with puns and sing along classics. With rehearsals held at Fire Station 101 and final performances at The Cunningham Room, Ipswich Civic Centre, the group bring good old-fashioned fun to our venues.

The Seniors Concert Group are currently looking for singers and performing arts enthusiasts who would like to get involved in the latest production.

All you need is:

a previous history or interest in singing,
to be over fifty,
be a team player and able to take theatrical direction and
be able to commit to the rehearsal and performance schedule.
Performance Schedule:
Weekly Rehearsals - 9.00 am - 12.00 pm
Tuesday 15 September - Tuesday 1 December
Dress Rehearsals
Monday 7 December and Tuesday 8 December
Performances
Wednesday 9 December - 10.00 am and 1.00 pm

Kawai KG-3C baby grand piano in polished mahogany finish. This is a professional-grade instrument from Kawai's prestigious KG series, manufactured in Hamamatsu, Japan. The piano features Exhibition Award certification from Kawai Piano Exhibition Awards, indicating high-quality craftsmanship and manufacturing standards.

The instrument displays the classic baby grand silhouette with elegant curved legs and brass casters. The cabinet features a rich, deep mahogany finish with high-gloss polyester polish that shows excellent depth and lustre. The piano includes a matching height-adjustable bench with burgundy/wine-coloured padded seat.

The KG-3C typically measures approximately 178cm in length and represents Kawai's mid-size baby grand offering, suitable for both home and small performance venues.

It's previously tuned and serviced by Brian Wilson regularly whilst I was living there. No problem getting up to 440Hz.
