Journey Early Learning Banyo is where your child’s journey begins... Our rooms open out onto the playground, encouraging indoor and outdoor play time.

Journey Banyo is a place where children aged from six weeks to six years of age can make a positive start to a life of learning, development, growth and opportunity. It’s the perfect space for little explorers who have a natural sense of curiosity and yearning for adventure. Our children love the alfresco style eating area with picnic style benches, which allows every meal to be enjoyed on the patio, under the fans. We also have an outdoor, undercover space which is perfect for arts and crafts. Some of the activities include slime making, hand painting and sensory play. Our children are encouraged to get messy, dig in the dirt and play amongst the gardens. What little explorer wouldn’t love that?

✈️Learning, Reflecting & Growing at the ECA Conference! 🌿📚

Over the long weekend, our Educational Leader, Kealie, travelled to Melbourne to attend the ECA Conference, spending several days learning, reflecting and connecting with others within the Early Childhood sector.

Throughout the conference, Kealie attended a range of inspiring sessions exploring topics such as slowing down our teaching practices, being more intentional and present with children, and reflecting on what really matters when documenting children’s learning.

A highlight was having the opportunity to hear from some incredible voices within Early Childhood, including Dr Claire Warden and Toni Christie, alongside many other passionate educators and professionals. 🌱

Kealie has returned with plenty of new ideas, reflections and inspiration to share with our team as we continue to reflect on our practices and create meaningful learning experiences for the children at Journey Banyo. 💛

Professional development like this reminds us that as educators, we are always learning too! ✨

Our families were treated to a little something delicious on the go this morning! 💛

Today’s breakfast included White Chocolate & Raspberry Muffins and Ham & Cheese Croissants – perfect for grabbing on the way out the door and starting the morning with a tasty treat! 😋

It’s time to introduce the wonderful faces behind our Journey Banyo Management Team — Miss Max, Miss Jordyn and Miss Kealie! 💕✨

You’ll often find these three welcoming families at the front desk, supporting our educators, popping into the rooms, answering questions and helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes!

💗 Miss Max – Centre Manager
Miss Max leads our Journey Banyo team with care, passion and plenty of laughs along the way! She works closely with our children, families and educators to ensure our centre continues to be a welcoming, supportive and happy place for everyone.

🌼 Miss Jordyn – Administrator
Miss Jordyn is one of the friendly faces you’ll often see at the front desk! From helping families with enquiries and enrolments to supporting the day-to-day running of the centre, Jordyn helps keep everything organised and is always happy to lend a hand.

🌷 Miss Kealie – Educational Leader
Miss Kealie works alongside our educators to support our curriculum, programming and educational practices across the centre. You’ll also regularly see her spending time in the rooms, supporting the children and educators and helping bring new ideas, experiences and projects to life.

Together, Max, Jordyn and Kealie work closely behind the scenes (and sometimes right in the middle of the chaos! 😂) to support our children, families and amazing team of educators. 🥰

🍎🥝 Exploring Healthy Foods in Toddler 1! 🍓🐉

Our Toddler 1 children have been exploring healthy foods and discovering the different colours, textures and possibilities that fruits and vegetables can offer! 🌈

As part of their learning, the children had the opportunity to explore dragon fruit in a creative new way – using it to paint! 🎨💗

The children squished, smeared and moved the dragon fruit across the paper, observing its vibrant colour and unique texture while creating their own artwork. This hands-on experience encouraged sensory exploration, creativity and fine motor development, while supporting conversations about healthy foods and where our food comes from.

Who knew healthy food could make such a fun paintbrush? 🐉🍓🎨

🌟 Mini Monstars Fun! 🏀✨
Our Kinder children had a fantastic time in Mini Monstars class! They got busy completing an exciting obstacle course, building their balance, coordination and confidence as they made their way through each challenge. 💪🤸‍♀️

They also had lots of fun practising their basketball skills, working on their throwing, catching, bouncing and aiming. 🏀👏

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, having fun and giving things a go! What a great session! 💛🌟

We’re back with Part 2 of introducing our wonderful Support Team!💕

This time, we’re shining the spotlight on three more amazing educators who help support our children, families and team across Journey Banyo — Miss Satty, Miss Mari and Miss Karen! 🌸✨

💗 Miss Satty brings so much warmth, positivity and care to our centre. She has built beautiful relationships with children across our different rooms and is always ready to jump in, lend a hand and support wherever she is needed.

🌼 Miss Mari brings a calm, gentle and nurturing presence to our team. She loves engaging with the children through their play and learning and has become a wonderful familiar face throughout the centre.

🌷 Miss Karen brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. Her caring and patient nature, along with her many years of experience in Early Childhood Education, makes her an amazing support to both our children and fellow educators.

Our Support Team plays such an important role in our centre. While you may see them in different rooms from day to day, their familiar faces, caring relationships and willingness to help ensure our children continue to feel safe, secure and supported. 🥰

We are so grateful to haveMiss Satty, Miss Mari and Miss Karen as part of our Journey Banyo family! 💕🌈
