📚✨ Book Week Magic at Journey Banyo! ✨📚

Our Book Week celebrations are underway, and we have loved seeing the children arrive dressed as some of their favourite characters! 🥰

Today we had a pirate 🏴‍☠, Emma Wiggle 💛, Catboy 🦸, and Minnie Mouse 🎀🐭 join us for a day full of fun, imagination and adventure!

There is something so special about seeing the children's favourite stories and characters come to life. 📖✨

We can't wait to see what other wonderful characters walk through our doors this Book Week! 💛🌟

At Journey Early Learning Banyo, we are incredibly lucky to have a team of wonderful educators who each bring their own knowledge, experience and care to our centre. So, if we get the chance to talk about them… we absolutely will! 🥰

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on our amazing Kinder Team! 🎓🌈

🍎 Miss Aishling – Kinder ECT
Miss Aishling leads our Kinder program, supporting our children as they build the confidence, independence and skills they need for their transition to school. Through intentional teaching, meaningful experiences and plenty of encouragement, she helps make learning exciting and engaging every day! ✏️📚

🌻 Miss Trixie – Pre-Kinder ECT
Miss Trixie supports our Pre-Kinder children as they take those important steps towards their Kindergarten year. She creates opportunities for children to explore, build friendships, develop independence and grow their love of learning through play. 💕🌱

✨ Miss Chelsea – Assistant Educator
Miss Chelsea is a wonderful support within our Kinder space, bringing warmth, care and enthusiasm to each day. She works alongside Miss Aishling and Miss Trixie to ensure our children feel safe, supported and ready to learn, explore and have fun! 🥰

Together, these three wonderful educators create a welcoming and engaging environment where our children can learn, grow and prepare for their next big adventure. 💛

And where better to start than with the heart of our centre — our kitchen and the wonderful Chef Cathy!👩‍🍳❤️

Chef Cathy does so much more than prepare delicious and nutritious meals each day. She knows our children, their likes and dislikes, their dietary needs and, most importantly, how to bring a smile to their faces! From busy breakfast mornings to delicious lunches and afternoon treats, so much love and care comes out of Cathy’s kitchen. 🍎🥕🥣

Her warm personality, caring nature and willingness to help wherever she can make her such an important part of our Journey Banyo family.

Thank you, Chef Cathy, for keeping our little bellies full and for being such a wonderful part of our centre! 💕👩‍🍳

🌸 Something exciting is happening in our local community! 🌸

St Pius V Primary School is holding their 2026 Spring Fair and it looks like a fantastic family day out! 🎡☀️

Come along on Sunday 30 August from 10am–4pm for a day filled with rides, games, a petting zoo, student shows, yummy food, raffles and lots of family fun! 🎠🐐🍕🎟️
