Collegium in Armis
Collegium in Armis (CIA) is a school of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) based in Brisbane (Australia), operating since 2003.
We study and practice HEMA from sources in two broad streams; a Medieval and Renaissance stream based primarily on German sources from the 13th to 16th centuries, and an Enlightenment stream based on later British, Iberian, and Italian sources from the 17th to 19th centuries. Thursday evening training runs from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, at the Sandgate Town Hall, Cnr Cliff and Seymour Streets, Sandgate, Brisbane, Queensland 4017.

Congrats to all our fencers who competed in various competitions last weekend, including Dan Arnold who secured 1st in mixed weapon, 3rd in longsword, 4th in rapier & dagger, and 4th in sword and bucker at WitW, and Anthony Terry-Lancaster who secured 5th place at Oak N’ Iron.

There is no training session on Thursday 2nd April due to the Easter long weekend.
The next will be on the 9th April.
CIA South Side will be resuming next Tuesday (6th of January).
