Oranges are definitely one of the favourites here at Papilio Sherwood! 🍊

The children always get excited when oranges are on the menu, whether as part of morning tea, afternoon tea, or served alongside meals.

Not only are they sweet, juicy, and refreshing, but oranges also come with lots of wonderful benefits for growing bodies. They are packed with Vitamin C to support a healthy immune system, contain fibre for healthy digestion, and provide hydration to keep little learners energized throughout the day.

We love including oranges in our menu as a fun and nutritious option that the children genuinely enjoy! 🍊✨

We celebrated Mother’s Day a little early with lots of love, smiles, and special moments. 💐💖

As Mother’s Day falls on the weekend, we wanted to make sure our wonderful mums, grandmothers, and special loved ones had the chance to celebrate with us here at the centre before the big day arrives.

The children enjoyed taking part in thoughtful activities, creating special gifts, and sharing beautiful moments to show appreciation for the amazing people who care for them every day.

Thank you to all the incredible mums and mother figures in our community for your endless love, support, and care. We hope you feel extra special this Mother’s Day — you truly deserve it. 🌸

We took a moment to honour and remember the spirit of ANZAC Day with our little learners. 🌺

As ANZAC Day falls on Saturday, we celebrated a little early so the children could still take part in this meaningful experience.

Through simple and gentle learning, the children were introduced to the values of bravery, kindness, and remembrance. We enjoyed some delicious ANZAC-inspired cookies together, along with refreshing fruit punch, a lovely way to bring everyone together while learning about this important day.

Moments like these help us nurture respect, gratitude, and understanding in our children.

Dental Day at Papilio Sherwood 🦷🪥✨

Last Thursday, 9th of April, the children enjoyed participating in Dental Day, where they learned about the importance of caring for their teeth and maintaining good oral hygiene.

Through simple and engaging activities, they explored proper brushing techniques and discussed healthy habits that support strong, happy smiles.
