Middle Park State School

Senior assembly this afternoon celebrated students who received: The Principal's Award, the Shed Shout Out, Class awards and Mathletic awards.
5C won the Bee award this fortnight and also presented a fantastic presentation on Erosion.
We heard from Mrs Pegoraro and felt so proud of the Wakakirri team and their amazing awards!!

🏗️ New Build Update

It is so exciting to see our new building taking shape! With sections of the external cladding now removed and internal sheeting being installed, we can really begin to see the rooms coming together.

The building has been designed to support and value our Music and Instrumental Music programs. We are delighted that Music classes, along with our Instrumental Music Band and Strings programs, will commence in their new spaces before the end of this year. 🎶

The building will also include a Flexible Learning Area to support the implementation of the Technologies curriculum. Technologies is a learning area within the Australian Curriculum that develops students’ design thinking, problem-solving, creativity and digital capabilities. This purpose-built space will also create opportunities for students to apply their learning across science, technology, engineering and mathematics through engaging STEM experiences.

Upstairs, four new general learning areas will provide contemporary classroom spaces for our Year 6 students from the beginning of 2027.

This is an exciting addition to Middle Park State School, providing wonderful new opportunities and learning environments for our students now and into the future. 💙💚

Last night’s Wakakirri performance was an absolute success, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single student who took to the stage. 💫

Every child was absolutely brilliant and truly shone on stage. Their hard work, commitment and courage came together to create something very special.

A huge congratulations to all of our amazing performers and to everyone involved behind the scenes who helped bring the performance to life. ❤️

What a night to remember! 🌟👏
