This week, we’re shining a spotlight on Dubai College of Tourism (DCT), a member of THE-ICE since 2025.

Established by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, DCT plays an important role in preparing students and professionals for careers across Dubai’s dynamic tourism and hospitality sectors.

Through practical, industry-focused training in tourism, hospitality, culinary arts, events and specialised Dubai-focused studies, DCT supports learners to build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to enter, enhance or advance their careers.

🎓 Congratulations to KOTO Class 44 on completing their final assessment.

This special milestone marks the culmination of their two-year journey, with trainees designing the menu, planning the service and delivering a memorable dining experience for their guests.

K44 will now transition into their job placements before returning for their formal graduation ceremony next year.

What does international recognition and excellence look like for vocational TH&E education? Join us for this exciting symposium at THE-ICE IPoE Forum 2026. 🎓

In 2026, Ecole Hôtelière Genève (EHG) became the first institution globally to achieve THE-ICE VErified certification, setting a new benchmark in vocational hospitality education. 🌍

Hear directly from Susanne Welle and Delphine Genin from EHG as they share insights from the institution’s VErified journey and what this milestone means in practice.

The session will also feature Dr Craig Thompson, CEO, THE-ICE, who will explore how THE-ICE VErified is helping shape a new pathway for benchmarking, recognition and continuous improvement in vocational TH&E education.
