EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - MARKET STALLS

Apply here: https://form.jotform.com/262499117223055

On Saturday 5 December, the P&C and Hills Church are turning the school into a Christmas Market and Carols by Candlelight night. We're inviting families to run their own stalls, with the kids leading the way.

Think handmade, homemade and full of Christmas spirit.

Reindeer food. Painted rocks. Friendship bracelets. Christmas cards. Lucky dips. Handmade games, badges, beeswax wraps, bath bombs, biscuits tied up with a ribbon. Even a community bake sale. Small, simple and made around the kitchen table is exactly what we're looking for.

Here's how it works

The P&C provides the marquee and table.
You bring the ideas, the products and the enthusiasm.
No money handling. Customers buy tickets from a central ticket stall and hand them to you, so kids simply collect tickets.
Team up with another family, a group of friends or even your whole class to share a stall.
Every ticket your stall collects helps the P&C support our school.

Every year, one of our biggest commitments is funding our school chaplain. That role costs over $48,000 a year and isn't funded by the department. It's funded by our school community through P&C fundraising and events like this one.

So when your child runs a stall, they're not just raising money. They're helping support programs and people that make a real difference in our school.

A few ground rules

- No hot food or cold drinks (our food vendors have those covered).
- Products must be suitable for a family-friendly school event.
- Any food sold must be individually wrapped, clearly labelled with ingredients and completely nut free.

Want to run a food stall instead? Email us for a food vendor application.

Important dates:
- Expressions of interest close Wednesday 7 October.
- Accepted stalls will be confirmed by Friday 9 October.

So grab the kids, let them pitch their best idea, and put in an expression of interest. It only takes a couple of minutes.

To celebrate our grandparents, the P&C Association is holding a morning tea after the classroom visits.

To make this day a success we need volunteers to assist with helping on the day & bakers to fuel our hungry grandparents.

Please sign up and comment what you will be bringing. Gluten Free items are always appreciated too!

We understand everyone is busy so even a packet of Tim Tams or bought baked goods would be greatly appreciated - please sign up and comment also.

You are welcome to drop off long life items to the tuckshop in the lead up to the day. All baked goods can be dropped to the hall the morning of from 7:45am (If your child attends OSHC early, please drop your food there).

Disposable packaging is preferred or if bought in a container, please have it clearly named so it can be returned.

Thank you for supporting the P&C and making this a special day for our Grandparents!

🎄 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NOW OPEN - CHRISTMAS MARKET STALLS 🎄

Got a kid with a great idea? We'd love to see it at our Christmas Market on Saturday 5 December.

We're looking for simple, fun, family-run stalls led by our students. Think friendship bracelets, painted rocks, Christmas cards, lucky dips, homemade biscuits, handmade gifts, games and more. Small and homemade is exactly what we're after!

The P&C provides the table and marquee, and there's no money handling. Visitors purchase tickets from a central ticket booth and use those to buy from your stall.

Every ticket collected helps support our school through the P&C. One of our biggest commitments each year is funding our school chaplain, a role that costs more than $48,000 annually and is funded by our community, not the department.

Grab the kids, brainstorm an idea together and submit an expression of interest.

EOIs close Wednesday 7 October
Successful stalls confirmed by Friday 9 October

This week we say goodbye to Chappy Stef as she finishes up at our school.

Stef has been so much more than a chaplain. She has brought energy, creativity and a genuine love for our school community into everything she does. From Pancake Day and Chappy Breakfast to Crazy Sock Day and countless other activities, she always found ways to bring people together, make students smile and create a sense of belonging.

For many students, families and staff, Stef has been a friendly face, a listening ear and a constant source of encouragement. Much of what she does happens quietly behind the scenes, but its impact is felt right across our school.

Thank you, Stef, for your care, your enthusiasm and your wonderful ideas. We are incredibly grateful for all you have given to our community and wish you every blessing for the future. You will be greatly missed. ❤️

Please share a favourite memory or message for Stef in the comments below.
