Hi everyone! With medical interview season coming up, Real Knowledge Academy is running a free online MMI information session for students interested in Queensland medicine pathways.

We’ll be discussing the different interview processes across QLD universities, what MMI-style interviews can involve, common station themes, and some practical ways students can begin preparing

We’ll also work through a few general example scenarios and share general advice from our experience helping students prepare for medical interviews.

Our team has been able to produce a 95% success rate over the last 2 years across 50+ students and we look forward to hopefully building on this success in 2026.

A strong MMI answer should not sound memorised.

The best responses are structured enough to stay clear, while still sounding natural and responsive to the scenario.

A simple approach:

Identify the main issue
Consider the key perspectives
Apply relevant ethical principles
Finish with a clear and practical plan
The goal is not to use the biggest words. It is to show the interviewer that you can think calmly, communicate clearly and make balanced decisions.
