Australia’s first lunar rover, Roo-ver, has been revealed at QUT’s Yandiwanba lunar test facility in Brisbane. 🌕

Roo-ver is preparing to make history when it travels to the Moon in 2030, with QUT researchers helping develop the robotic navigation and positioning technology that will guide its journey across the lunar surface.

From testing in Brisbane to exploring the Moon, this is Australian innovation going places.

🚀 From QUT to NASA.

QUT engineering students Jordan Roulstone and Jamal Woods have blasted off to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in the US for an incredible 10-week placement as part of Monash University's National Indigenous Space Academy (NISA), which aims to build Indigenous participation in Australia’s growing space sector.

The proud Warumungu and Dunghutti men will work alongside NASA scientists and engineers, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to current missions. 🌌🛰️

And another huge win for Jordan Roulstone, who has been named the inaugural recipient of the Boeing NISA Scholarship. Congrats Jordan! 👏
