The Street Science Show is always a favourite at Wilston, and 2026 certainly didn't disappoint! A big thank you to Mr Medlin for organising the team to guide our Year 3 - 6 students through a range of engaging science discoveries. It was a fantastic session of curiosity, learning and fun!

A big thank you to Constable Kim and Constable Megan for visiting us yesterday and speaking with our students in Years 3 - 6 about the importance of staying safe online.

Our students had the opportunity to learn some valuable tips and strategies to help them make smart, safe and responsible choices in the digital world.

It’s moments like these that remind us why working in a school is one of the best jobs in the world.

Learning doesn’t always happen in a classroom. Sometimes it happens at lunchtime, when a Teacher Aide helps a student read a special note from Mum tucked inside their lunchbox.

A little reading practice, a lot of connection, and a very big smile when those words from home are discovered.

This week also gave us a very special reminder of the power of music to connect people, bring joy and create meaningful moments across generations.

It’s the final morning at Year 4 Camp, and while they’ll be heading home soon, there are still a few adventures to squeeze in!
