💚💛 Looking Back on Term 3 💛💚
Term 3, what a term it has been!
So much to celebrate, do and be seen.
We’ve learned and we’ve laughed, we’ve danced and we’ve run,
So let’s look back now at a term full of fun!
Springwood Sprouts Playgroup opened its door,
Welcoming little learners we hope to see more.
We asked “R U OK?” and showed that we care,
And Bullying No Way said kindness belongs everywhere.
Then KIIS 97.3 gave Springwood a win,
And soon those Dagwood Dogs came rolling in!
Our School Disco had everyone taking the floor,
With dancing so brilliant… and some we’ll ignore!
At Cross Country, we ran with determination and pride,
Then gave Sports Day our best as we cheered side by side.
We raced and we jumped and we gave it our all,
Because Springwood spirit stands proud and tall!
Our 3/4 excursion took learning away,
With plenty to discover throughout the whole day.
Then our Science Challenge champions showed what they knew —
Congratulations, Year 3/4, we’re proud of you!
Book Week arrived and what a sight!
Our costumes and characters brought pure delight.
The students looked brilliant from head to toe,
And the teachers went ALL OUT, they stole the show!
We launched Containers for Change, keeping recycling on track,
Turning bottles and cans into ways to give back.
Then Paws for a Cause had tails wagging too,
There really wasn’t much that Springwood didn’t do!
For Father’s Day, we had gifts at our stall,
And Donuts for Dad were enjoyed by all.
Then Teacher Aide Week gave us reason to say,
“Thank you!” to the people who help every day.
There were Songs with Chappy Lex, with voices in tune,
And our PBL Celebration had us smiling by noon.
We celebrated the choices that help our school shine,
Being safe, being learners and respectful each time.
Then came the Colour Fun Run, what a colourful sight!
We ran through the colours with absolute delight.
We reached our goal, so the students agreed:
“SLIME THE TEACHERS!” with impressive speed!
So that was Term 3, and what a ride,
A term full of learning, laughter and pride.
But there’s one final thing I’d really like to say,
As we bring this incredible term to a close today.
