Need a little convincing to donate to our Blanket Drive? We think Bea has that covered!

As part of persuasive writing, Bea has used rhetorical questions, emotive language, strong arguments and a very passionate call to action to explain exactly why our furry friends deserve a little extra comfort.

And really... after reading this, how could you say no? 🐶

We are still collecting blankets, towels and sheets for the Logan Animal Management Centre.

This is such a wonderful example of classroom learning stepping off the page and into our community. 💚💛🐾

We’ve officially reached the halfway week of our Colour Fun Run fundraiser, so we’re setting Springwood Central a challenge…

💥 Can we reach HALF of our $5,000 fundraising goal by the end of Week 7?

Every registration and every donation gets us one step closer, and the more we raise, the more fun we can unlock for the BIG DAY! 🌈🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

There may even be something rather colourful waiting to be revealed when we hit this milestone… 👀🌈

We have officially hit 50 Colour Fun Run registrations, which means our Sprinkler Station has been UNLOCKED! 💦🌈

Thanks to everyone who has registered and helped us reach this milestone. Another section of our Colour Fun Run course is now coming to life!

☕ Friday mornings just got better!

Vicky from Rise & Shine Coffee Co. will be trialling weekly visits on Friday mornings from 7:30am–8:30am, set up near the Senior Eating Area.

One of our talented 5/6 Yellow students has put their persuasive writing skills to work for our Paws for a Cause Blanket Drive, using techniques such as rhetorical questions, emotive language and strong arguments to encourage our community to get involved.

What better way to learn persuasive writing than by using your words for a real purpose? 🐶🐱

A clean blanket, towel or sheet might seem small to us, but it can make a big difference to an animal in need. 💛💚

We heard your feedback, and from next week our Tuckshop will also be opening on Tuesdays!
