Country Kids Early Learning & Kindergarten - Brighton

This year we have welcomed the gorgeous Country Kids Early Learning & Kindergarten - Brighton to the Hush Little Baby family. Alicia LOVES visiting the children at this lovely service every week to make music!

This week, the children visited our community garden to collect fresh rosemary to use in their playdough creations. As they picked and explored the rosemary, they talked about its smell, texture, and how it grows in our garden.

Back in the learning space, the children added the rosemary to their playdough play, creating unique designs and engaging their senses through hands-on exploration. Experiences like these encourage creativity, sensory learning, and a connection to the natural environment.

What wonderful ways to bring our garden into our play! 🌱✨

A huge thank you to James, owner of PUK Espresso, for generously donating a wonderful range of new resources to our centre!

We love building connections with local businesses and are so grateful for the support shown to our children and learning community. The children are already excited to explore the new resources!

We were also spoiled with some fantastic drink bottles and coffee cards, which we’ll be sharing with our amazing families next week.

Our Kindy children have been busy creating signs for the plants growing in our community garden! After carefully making and decorating them, our JK children headed outside to place the signs throughout the garden beds.

The signs help us identify what is growing and where, supporting the children's understanding of gardening, plant care, and the journey from seed to harvest. They also encourage a sense of ownership and pride as the children contribute to caring for our shared garden space.

We can't wait to watch our garden continue to grow and thrive! 🌿🍅🥕🌻

We offer children something many childhoods are missing today, freedom to explore, take risks, get messy, and connect with nature!

Strong bodies, calm minds, happy hearts. 💙 Our children enjoyed a wonderful yoga session, learning breathing techniques, balance, and relaxation skills that support their wellbeing every day.🧘‍♀️❤🌈

Drawing is a wonderful way for children to express their ideas, creativity, and imagination. Through drawing, our kindy children are developing fine motor skills, building confidence, and learning to communicate their thoughts and experiences. Every picture tells a story, and we love seeing the unique perspectives and creativity shine through in their artwork. 🎨✨
