Today we welcomed Lucas Proudfoot into our service. Lucas is a proud Bunjalung man who performs aboriginal stories through music and dance. Our whole centre came together to watch the amazing performance, which the children absolutely loved. What an amazing experience for our young learners and educator's 🤩

Yesterday we had two very special incursions.

Miss Brooke and Evie the guide dog from Guide Dog Queensland. Evie was introduced to the classroom by Miss Brooke, and she followed directions the entire time. Miss Brooke read a story from her organization about guide dogs and how they assist people who are blind or visually impaired.

Kindy One and Kindy Two children had the opportunity to explore and connect to Celtic traditions such as St Patricks day through music performed by a local pipe band. This band is called Celtic Nations Pipes and Drums and each playing member represents their clan heritage through the wearing of that clans Tartan. A pipe band can be very loud so we only had Pipe Major Jeff and Drum Sargent Ian perform for us and at the start the sound was a bit loud but as the children's confidence grew and they heard familiar songs they soon decided to get up and dance along to all the different tunes

Look at this amazing under the Ocean display. The toddlers room have been very busy over the last month creating an under the Ocean quiet area in their play space. Using recycled materials and paper mache techniques to create an inviting area for their children to explore and relax in 😍

Every year we participate in CPR training. Today our educator's did an amazing job refreshing their minds in CPR. Well done Ladies!!

Big feelings are a natural part of growing, especially in the toddler and preschool years 🌻

Strong emotions often appear when children are learning to manage frustration, change, and new social experiences. With calm, responsive support, these moments become opportunities for emotional growth.
