An early Mother's Day performance at the Rocks Riverside Sundayz Markets. Our repertoire included music dedicated to our mums. This is our first market performance and the students were awesome at getting up to play in front of a crowd!

So very proud of the students who played at The Cafe Kalina last month in March. The young performers have come such a long way learning public speaking skills, playing by memory and overall increasing musical understanding in sharing music with others. Students through their practice, are constantly overcoming their next big step and furthering their skillsets and abilities by willingly stepping up to challenges presented to them.

The students also showed their learning of performance etiquette and how to be supportive of fellow musicians.

This is their latest repertoire presented at The wonderful and community-driven Cafe Kalina whose staff are so friendly and accommodating as always.

The afternoon consisted of a delightful variety of film, classical and contemporary pieces.

Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity from Gustav Holst's 'The Planets' 🌌

This piece is part of 'The Planets' orchestral suite, consisting of seven movements, each named after a planet.

These include
Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

It's always wonderful to be able to use music to celebrate festive occasions! 🎶

It can also be a great way to explore and get exposure to many styles of music 🎵

Just over seven months of lessons, recording, filming, event performances and a lot of practise, these students not only pulled off but excelled at this Chopin duet, 'A Wish' Opus 74 No. 1

With extreme diligence and effort to learn this piece, they have achieved amazing progress as well as foster great energy and musicality in their playing.

Learning the classic Celebrated Chop Waltz (Chopsticks) on piano! This piece is fun and a great way to be introduced to the waltz feel for young students, learning contrary motion and rhythm.
