🌟 Alfie Had the Best Weekend Away! 🌟
Alfie had an amazing weekend with the Hill family, filled with lots of exciting adventures, fun experiences, and special memories! 🧸✨
We love seeing the wonderful journeys Alfie goes on with our families and hearing all about his adventures when he returns.
Alfie is already so excited to be heading home with another family this Friday for even more adventures! If you'd like to see what Alfie has been up to, be sure to stop by the front office and have a look through his special Adventure Book. πŸ“–πŸ’™
We can't wait to see where Alfie travels next! πŸŒˆπŸš—

🐻✨ Meet Alfie! ✨🐻
We are so excited to introduce our special friend, Alfie! Over the coming weeks, Alfie will be heading home with each of our children to enjoy wonderful adventures with their families.
Alfie can't wait to be part of family outings, special moments, bedtime stories, trips to the park, and all the exciting experiences our children would like to share with him. Families will have the opportunity to document Alfie's adventures and share them with us so we can celebrate them together at the service.
Taking Alfie home helps strengthen the connection between home and childcare, supports children's sense of belonging, encourages communication and storytelling skills, and provides opportunities for children to share their experiences and build confidence when speaking in front of their peers.
We can't wait to see where Alfie travels and the memories he creates along the way. Keep an eye on our page for updates on Alfie's exciting adventures! πŸ§ΈπŸ’™

Our Pre-Kindy educators recently participated in professional development focused on Visual Supports and Key Word Sign. πŸ“šπŸ€Ÿ
As educators, we are committed to continuously learning, growing, and developing new skills to ensure every child feels supported, valued, and included in our program.
Visual supports and Key Word Sign are valuable tools that help children communicate, understand routines, express their needs, and actively participate in their learning environment. By expanding our knowledge in these areas, we can create even more inclusive and responsive learning experiences for all children.
We are proud of our dedicated team for embracing ongoing professional development and their commitment to providing the very best outcomes for every child in our care. πŸ’™βœ¨

What a fantastic experience our Pre-Kindy children were engaged in today! 🌟
The children had so much fun participating in a ball passing and sorting activity, building on their hand-eye coordination, listening skills, colour recognition, turn taking and teamwork. Watching their excitement, concentration and confidence grow as they worked together was amazing to see. πŸ’™β€οΈπŸ’›πŸ’š
Activities like these help support children’s social development while encouraging problem solving, patience and fine and gross motor skills through play-based learning. We are so proud of how engaged and involved all the children were throughout the experience! 😊

What an exciting morning! We were so lucky to have Mr Lobb, the Principal from Acacia Ridge State School, come in for a visit and spend time with our kindy children.
The children loved engaging with him, sharing conversations, and showing off their learning environment. We absolutely love building strong community connections and creating opportunities for our children to engage with the wider community around them. πŸ’›

We are slowly starting our loose parts play journey and our toddlers are absolutely loving it!
Today the children explored stacking ice cream containers, building towers higher and higher, then watching them tumble down with excitement and laughter. Through this play they are learning problem solving skills, hand-eye coordination, balance, persistence and how to carefully stack and build to make their towers stronger and taller.
It has been wonderful watching their curiosity, creativity and confidence grow through such simple but meaningful experiences. We can’t wait to continue exploring the amazing benefits of loose parts play with our children. πŸ’›

We absolutely love our beautiful handmade dress ups created by a wonderful local community member. The children have had so much fun using them in their imaginative play. We are so lucky to live in such a caring, supportive and giving community. Thank you for sharing your kindness and talent with us β€” it is truly appreciated by both the children and educators. πŸ’•

We had a lovely visit at the start of the week from the Kindy children, who wanted to dress up in beautiful multicultural clothing and come for a walk to show us all. It was such a wonderful experience seeing the children proudly sharing and celebrating different cultures, traditions, and colours with so much excitement and confidence.
These meaningful experiences help children develop a sense of belonging, respect, and appreciation for the diverse world around them while building connections within our centre community. We loved seeing their smiling faces and the joy they brought with them throughout their visit. 🌏❀️
