Ashgrove Dance Studio proudly presents
their annual show Lights, Music, Dance.
A fast moving and entertaining show comprising a
varied program of classical ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop,
contemporary and broadway jazz.
This year the program will feature:
Rhapsody in Blue, a short Classical Lyrical Ballet
featuring our Senior students.
Adventures in Wonderland based on the well-known
children’s story with a few different twists. Expect to
see familiar faces like the mischievous Cheshire Cats,
the ever-eccentric Mad Hatter, and the commanding
Queen of Hearts. This enchanting ballet will feature a
mix of classical, tap, jazz styles, showcasing the talents
of our dancers in scenes full of colour, wonder, and
unexpected turns. A ballet for dreamers of all ages —
where curiosity leads the way and anything is possible.
After interval we roll out the red carpet as our Senior
Students take you on a dazzling journey through
Hollywood glamour and blockbuster brilliance!
Introducing Lights, Music, Dance! — a high-energy
tribute to the magic of the movies, where the worlds of
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop collide
with iconic film soundtracks from across the decades.
From dramatic scores to pop anthems, and golden age
classics to modern hits — this performance is bursting
with cinematic sparkle, sequins, glitz, and glamour.
