A friendly reminder to all our wonderful PlayNest families that PlayNest Early Learning Holland Park will be closed on Wednesday 12 August 2026 for the Ekka Public Holiday.

We hope you all have a fantastic day enjoying the Ekka, spending time with family and making some beautiful memories.

What an incredible achievement!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our Jeans for Genes Day fundraiser!

Together with the generosity of our amazing families, children, educators and community we raised an incredible $879.00!

Every dollar helps support the Children’s Medical Research Institute in their research to find cures and better treatments for children living with genetic diseases.

We are so incredibly proud of our PlayNest community for coming together and making a real difference. Every donation, every pair of jeans worn and every bit of support helped us get closer to a future where every child can have the opportunity to grow up healthy and happy.

That means every dollar donated tomorrow will be doubled, helping make an even bigger difference for children and families affected by birth defects and genetic diseases.

Together we raised an incredible $290.00 for The Pyjama Foundation! 🎉

Your generosity will help provide learning opportunities and support for children in foster care, giving them the confidence to dream big and reach their full potential.

We loved seeing everyone come dressed in their favourite pyjamas while supporting such an important cause. Thank you for helping us make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who need it most. 💙

🦕Dinosaur Painting Fun in Senior Nursery! 🦖

Our Senior Nursery children had a roaring good time exploring paint in a fun and creative way! Using dinosaurs, they dipped, stamped and stomped their way across the paper to create colourful dinosaur footprints and unique prints.

This hands on activity encouraged creativity, sensory exploration and fine motor development while sparking lots of imaginative play and conversations about dinosaurs. There were plenty of smiles, messy hands and wonderful discoveries along the way!

🚀Exploring Our Solar System! 🌎🪐

Our Kindy children have been on an exciting journey through space as they explored the amazing planets in our solar system! 🌟 Through hands on learning experiences, the children matched planets to their names and beginning sounds, created their own planet inspired artwork and enjoyed reading books to discover fascinating facts about space.

These experiences encouraged curiosity, supported early literacy, sparked creativity and inspired wonderful conversations about the world beyond our own. We love seeing our little learners ask questions, make discoveries and let their imaginations soar!

On Wednesday, our Kindy children had the wonderful opportunity to attend the NAIDOC for Jajumms event at Springwood Road State School.

It was a fantastic day filled with cultural learning, storytelling, music, art and hands on experiences that celebrated the rich histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

A big thank you to everyone who made this special event possible. We loved seeing our children learn, explore and connect with culture in such a meaningful way. ❤️🖤💛

Tomorrow is National Pyjama Day!

Tomorrow our PlayNest community will be swapping our uniforms for our comfiest pyjamas to help support children in foster care through The Pyjama Foundation.
