From sustainability prompts to visual learning aids, these resources are designed to spark curiosity, encourage responsibility, and create meaningful learning opportunities within our family day care environments ♻️

Our educators and staff completed their CPR renewal training last month with My First Aid Course 🧡

Keeping up to date with training like this ensures we are always prepared to respond to emergencies and continue providing a safe environment for all children in our care.

Our Director Tabi Sango and Education Leader Yvonne Bwisengo attended the FDCA National Conference this year! What an inspiring few days of learning, connection, and collaboration with educators and leaders from across Australia.

We were honoured to hear from Anne Hollonds, National Children’s Commissioner; Meena Singh, Acting Principal Commissioner & Commissioner for Aboriginal Children and Young People in Victoria; Nathan Wallis – Understand Your Brain; and Dr Jana Pittman – Change the Beat of Your Drum.

Our team attended powerful sessions across different streams — exploring child safety, neurodiversity, educator wellbeing, programming, and the future of Family Day Care.

✨ On Wednesday, August 6, our coordination team had the privilege of attending ACECQA’s Targeting Quality Program workshop in Brisbane.

The session focused on Children’s Health and Safety (Quality Area 2) and Leadership and Governance (Quality Area 7).

It was such a valuable day of learning — we met some lovely people, listened to others’ experiences, and walked away with new ideas on how we can continue supporting our children, families, and educators. 💛

What a beautiful day spent reconnecting with nature and each other at our Yoga Picnic and visit to the Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens!

The fresh air, peaceful gardens, and calming yoga session made it a perfect escape from the everyday. Thank you to everyone who joined us — your presence, smiles, and energy made the day so special. 💛

This week, our educators and children came together to celebrate National Reconciliation Week. ❤💛🖤

Throughout the week, children engaged in meaningful experiences such as creating boomerangs, exploring Indigenous-inspired art, and learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. 🌿🎨

Together, we explored the importance of respect, connection, and caring for Country. These moments help nurture understanding and appreciation for the world’s oldest continuing cultures — and we’re so proud to be part of that journey.

Our dedicated educators and staff participated in their CPR renewal training with My First Aid Course to ensure we continue providing the highest level of care and safety for the children in our service.

Ongoing professional development like this helps our team stay confident and prepared for any emergency situation. A huge thank you to My First Aid Course for delivering such an engaging and informative session, and to our amazing team for always showing up and putting safety first! 👏🏽🧡

Yesterday, we had the privilege of welcoming Queensland Rail to Foundations FDCS! 🛤️🐰
They shared valuable rail safety tips with the children, making learning both fun and informative.

The day was packed with exciting Easter activities too — from egg and spoon races 🥚🏃‍♂️, sack races 🎽, to everyone's favourite... the Easter egg hunt! 🐣🍫
