Today, the Toddler children were invited to explore a Sensory Bin filled with leaves, pods and natural materials and other safe sensory resources. The children eagerly approached the experience, using their hands to touch, squeeze, smell and explore the different textures.
Some children carefully picked up the leaves and flowers and rubbed them between their fingers, noticing their smell and texture. Others enjoyed scooping, transferring and arranging the natural materials in the sensory bin. Educators supported the children by introducing words such as “soft,” “rough,” “smooth,” “leaf,“smell,”.

Miss Supriya organised a scientific experiment for the kindy children investigating the properties of mixing cornflour and water.
After combining the water and cornflour to create Oobleck, the children engaged in tactile exploration. Miss Supriya asked how the substance felt.
Miss Supriya extended the experiment by asking what would happen if salt were introduced to the mixture.

📚 Book Week – Day 5: Fantasy ✨🧚‍♀️
What an amazing way to finish our Book Week celebrations! 🎉
Our final dress-up theme was Fantasy, and the children looked absolutely magical! ✨🧙‍♀️🧚‍♂️ They had an incredible time throughout the whole week dressing up as their favourite book characters and sharing their love of books with their friends.
It was wonderful to see their creativity, imagination and excitement shine through each day. 📖💫

Last night we officially launched our new spring menu at our centre. Day 3 of Book Week was full of Disney magic! ✨🎀
We had a very special visit from our local firefighters 🚒👨‍🚒👩‍🚒, which made the day even more exciting! It was wonderful to see so many children dressed as brave firefighters, ready for their special visit. ❤️
The children enjoyed meeting our visitors, learning about the important work they do, and showing off their fantastic costumes.
What a magical and memorable Book Week day! 📚✨🚒💫
