RESTRAINING ORDER DISMISSED!
For 12 months I have been raising concerns from the veterans community with the Lord Mayor and the CEO and providing evidence of the corruption, fraud and blackmail of locally elected politician Sam Weston to the media in Darwin
And clear evidence of non compliance with obligations over veterans funding and donations
In that time, the media continued to give this corrupt liar a platform to gaslight the public and deny his misconduct.
I have continually reached out to the Lord Mayor and the media and asked: would you please speak to the victims and bring this injustice and corruption to light?
The media refused to even present the testimony of any of the victims.
In the meantime, Sam Weston attempted to silence me with vexatious legal action, which resulted in an interim order being made against me by a judicial officer.
Sam Weston claimed I had threatened customers in his cafe, which was a lie in court
Sam Weston claimed I threatened his daughter which was a lie in court
I contested the interim order with evidence that Sam Weston had lied in his application and most of the restrictions were lifted, however I still had an interim order over me for most of this year until the final matter was recently heard by a judge.
Sam Weston presented three pages of (frankly psychotic) allegations against me to the judge
None of which were true.
In one claim, Sam Weston stated that he reported 400 breaches to the police about me.
That’s predatory using our police resources to silence a member of the public from speaking the truth about the corruption, lies, bullying and misconduct of an elected official, is pretty s**t behaviour from a politician.
The judge dismissed all three pages of claims from Sam Weston
While I was under the interim order, Sam Weston continued to incite hatred towards me during this period by falsely claiming that I had attacked him or attacked his children.
This resulted in death threats and threats of violence, attempted home invasions and exclusion from community events such as International Women’s Day.
Councillor Kim farrar allegedly told members of the public that Sam Weston's daughter had to leave Town because I bullied her so badly
I have never met Sam Weston's daughter. I have never spoken to Sam Weston's daughter and I have definitely never bullied Sam Weston's daughter. This is a lie intended to deflect from the councillors own misconduct
And the media were silent about the evidence of Sam’s fraud and blackmail. Not one outlet spoke of the misconduct.
To be vindicated by the judge, who read through the three pages of unsubstantiated allegations from Sam Weston (with no evidence to back up his lies) and dismissed Sam's application for a restraining order was somewhat satisfying (who are we kidding? I screamed with delight! Suck s**t you lying bully) however the disappointing performance from the media in this time was not that great.
I’m Territory born and I have seen from day one, from the very start of the CLP party, that the Northern Territory is a little bit dodgy.
But, it’s 2026. The Northern Territory has the highest rate of domestic violence in the country, and for the media to completely ignore the fact that Sam Weston is an abusive di****ad who has caused incredible harm to women, bullied children and pushed several people to the point of attempting su***de with his abuse and bullying is fu***ng outrageous.
Sam Weston falsely accused a colleague of sexual assault, which I find most heinous.
The Lord Mayor and the City of Darwin CEO have failed in governance to address the misconduct, the fraud and blackmail, and the allegations of abuse and bullying.
And most disturbingly, 12 months after I first started asking for accountability for all of the money that has been donated for the benefit of veterans, Sam Weston has still produced no accountability, no receipts, no transparency about where any of that money has gone.
And he continues to be given grants for a coffee morning that provides 6 cups of coffee per week and ropes in thousands and thousands of dollars in grants that are supposed to be for the benefit of veterans.
I never said Sam Weston stole any money. I said that grants and donations that were intended for the benefit of veterans have been used for equipment upgrades and venue higher of the mad snake Cafe which is a business that lines the pocket of a politician
This is not for the purpose it was intended, which was the benefit of veterans
Sam Weston is banned from veterans groups in his own ward because of his misconduct within the veterans space
Sam Weston is four years behind in his legally obligated financial requirements for his dodgy charity which has funnelled money into his cafe
Nobody has said that he stole it. I am saying it has been misappropriated. I am saying it has been used for the wrong uses and I'm saying that an elected politician has an obligation to show accountability and trust and integrity to residents and rate payers.
We have seen the absolute disregard for any kind of code of conduct
And Sam Weston has not shown any trust or integrity in fact he has been dishonest and corrupt
Shame on the media for blatantly allowing this kind of corruption to go unchecked.
And shame on the media for continuing to allow a narcissist to gaslight the public and attempt to elicit sympathy for his “mental health”.
If Councillor Weston finds valid questions of accountability and honesty so overwhelmingly detrimental to his mental health, I think he needs to find a job that doesn’t require trust and integrity.
I'm calling on the Lord Mayor to fully investigate this matter
