We were very excited to have a special visitor today as part of the Premiers reading challenge. The honourable Corrine McMillan MP - State Member for Mansfield attended our service and read to our Kindergarten children. Thank you for promoting the importance of reading in the early years and taking the time to visit us.

Our nursery children participate in regular bush walks in the nature reserve across the road from our service. We are very lucky to have an abundance of wildlife in the area including many Koalas. The nursery children witnessed this incredible Australian animal during one of their outings in our 6 seater prams.

Messy play Afternoon! 🌼

On Wednesday we invited all of our families to participate in a messy play afternoon. During this afternoon our families could see the wonderful fun of messy play and what these experiences teaches the children.

Thank you to the team at and the rest of the team at Healthia Hub, for coming in to inform our educators and families on different stages of child development. Through collaborative partnerships we are able to provide support to our families and empower our educators with knowledge to better support the children.

Today we celebrated our wonderful Nursery Lead Educator, Vanja, on her 5 year anniversary working at Perfect Beginnings. 🌸

Our Pre-kindy children are exploring role play through sensory experiences. During this they explored aspects of identity, developed sensory connections and demonstrated their understanding of how transactions work.

We are hosting a workshop that outlines different areas of children's development to help our families have a holistic view of their children. This will be run and guided by health professionals from our community on the 22nd of July. Thank you to for helping us organise the evening for our families!

Bee incursion 🌻🐝

Today our Kindergarten children learnt about bees, honey and how these animals help our environment. Thank you to for coming to teach our children about Bees and helping us set up our brand new bee hive.

Our toddler children are identifying and learning about creepy crawlies through observations and art.
