🇩🇪🏮Update re 2026 Laternenfest Event🏮🇩🇪

BGLS has regretfully made the decision to postpone its annual Laternenfest event until 2027.

This decision has not been made lightly and reflects the change in the financial landscape, and the significant increase to manpower required, in organising such a large scale event.

Please be assured that this decision is not intended to signal the end of Laternenfest. BGLS will begin investigating options for a 2027 event, so that Laternenfest can return on a sound footing.

BGLS appreciates the ongoing support and understanding of the community as we work to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organisation and its events.

Thank you for participating in our "Fasching" / "Karneval" 2026, last Saturday, which is called the 5th season in Germany.🥳 It went well and the rain held off for most of the time. The students and teachers had a lot of fun with the "Polonäse", catching sweets 🍬🍫🍭, playing catch balls in a cup, blowing "Luftschlangen" and getting wrapped up as a "Mumie" ! 🎉🎶🤠🤡
